Yeah, whatever happened to honesty in a relationship? The more partners the higher the risk. Or get tested make sure you're both clean and then it doesn't matter because you are both sure the other partner is clean. I think that if you are serious that you should be able to share everything, and be honest with each other.

If it is alot of men, then it may be a better to keep it from him.
He will always feel like he has to live up to all the men you have been with.
He will always think "Am I the best", or "Am I the worst" and "She's had better".
The less men, that a man has to compare himself too, the better it is for his "ego".
However, honesty, is a form of trust.
If he ever finds out about the sexual partners that you had in the past,(and you did not tell him about) he will not have any trust, in you ever again.
My advice is.
Tell him about every person you had sex with (except the ones he would "never ever" find out about)
And let him know, he is the best lover out of all of them, and nobody could even compare to him.
Good Luck.

If it was me then I would love to know how many guys my girlfriend had been with and how they treated her and things like that so I can make sure that I don't do those things which could make her sad or remind her of them in a bad way (or worse, make her think that I am like one of those jerks!!) - privacy is important in every relationship, so I would never ask prying questions, but I would love to listen if she is willing to tell me something.

I don't think that it is important of him to know my past. Neither do I. I don't care how many women he slept with. Tell him to start leaving in the presence not in the past. Cause they'll ruine everthing.

Yes. I haven't been with that many guys so it's not a problem for me to answer and if my number did get up there, I might tell him that's I don't want to discuss that with him and that all that matters is that I'm STD free.

i wouldn't give him a false number. i would either tell the truth if i felt really comfortable doing that, or i would just say that i'd rather not talk about it.
