It seems RealMedia has screwed themselves with their proprietary format. None of the major programs like Sony Vegas support their format, which is unfortunate for both them and us consumers.

I have an .rm file that I want to post to an image/video hosting place, but they too do not support .rm, so I need to convert it.

Help! :)

I use this program allot, try it out, there's a help section if you need it. I hope this helps you out.

One of the best video converter i came across was WinAvi Converter by ZJMEDIA.

search for rm to avi or rm to mpeg or search for a video convertor. rm is a hard media to convert to other formats.

try the software WinAVI video convertor.. it supports many format. it can also convert file directly to DVD or VCD or any other format..
