I installed my new XP os but it kepps on installing over and over again ,it wont boot on my hard drive.. help!

i set my cmos to boot on hd 1st but still boot from cd: appears. i remove the cd but it says DISK BOOT FAILURE, INSERT SYSTEM DISK.. then the installation appears again...

Maybe it could be that you left the CD in the CD Rom Drive, and you keep clicking a key when it restarts making in start the CD Rom Setup. Try removing the CD, and make your hard drive the first bootable drive (optional).

Install CentOS.

pull it out right away after it loads mine did that is ok, it wil be there
