All these stores within 20 miles of each other: The Blue Snickel ,
The Tweed Weasle, The Plaid Pig, The Country Crow, The Old Country Porch
and Valley View Country Store. All of these stores are pretty new too. Ever heard of any of them?

I HAVE NEVER HEARD OF ANY OF THEM. BUT I BET THEY ARE COOL, I WOULD LOVE TO SEE THEM. I KNOW THIS KIND OF FURNISHING IS VERY POPULAR. AND THEY ARE ALSO VERY MIX AND MATCHABLE. YOU COULD DO AN ENTIRE ROOM OR USE A FEW PIECES AS ACCENTS. I HAPPEN TO LOVE THESE STYLES. YOUR HOME WOULD LOOK GREAT DECORATING WITH IT!

"Country" has always retained its popularity, because it is easy to decorate with, and because it gives a "comfortable feel" to any room. It says come on in, take off your shoes, and set a spell, lol.

Country can be worked into any design, as accents or as a full room decor. Working "pieces" into a room gives it a "personal" touch, a warm feeling. I always try to work in one "whimsical" piece in every room that I do. As an example I have a "crazy chicken" in my tuscan kitchen. He gives the room "life"and gets lots of giggles, lol.

Never heard of any of those stores, but have fun shopping, look for things that make you SMILE, if the colors work, buy it!

No we don't have any of those here. I think country primitives are dated now.....

The trend now is modern or contemporary. Remember, less is more!

I guess it really depends where you live as well. I do prefer a more urban look, you can mix the two styles and have a very interesting look....Good luck!

never heard of them. its ok if you have a ranch home in the country. most are either contemporary or antique or both. it depends on your taste. you want to keep each toom the same period or match them to it.
