im 5'6 and 131. i really need to lose some inches all over my body this summer. but im going to vaca this saturday and how much can i lose by then? Any at all? what can i do to make myself look more fit?
im in pretty good shape already.. but should i run? what foods do i eat? do i lift weights? hmm...

please dont copy and paste all your sh*t trying to sell me your dumb product thanbks.

well you minght see 1 or 2 intches off but thats about in and i think that you weight is good Already but you can lose a lot of water weight so dont eat alot and workout really hard
walking would be best also swimming.

if you are Desperate to lose lots of inthes the you can have a body wrap done it will make you swet and lose 3 to 6 intches. you can look online to see wher to ge it done or i saw a add about it in the penny saver.

You really cant expect anything to be instant. In my opinion, within a week you will not see the difference in terms of inches, but you may feel better about your self if you start a healthy diet. A lot of depression revolves around an unhealthy diet. Other than that, you may not be able to measure inches. I will copy and paste a guide that I created recently:

work out and eat right.

I've been on a diet for almost a year now and lost 50 pounds. And from personal experience it is SOO hard to find good food that tastes good too. Some good food choices are:
1. Cereal - Not surgary kinds, which are mainly cereals directed towards kids. My favorite cereal is Banana Nut Crunch (I could live off that stuff!)
2. Hoagies/Subs - Sandwiches can be a good choice, just remember, no mayo or other oils. Pretty much forget about condiments. Wheat bread with turkey lettuce and onions works for me (And still tastes awesome!)
3.Skim Milk and water - the most important part of a diet is to not drink your calories. You do not have to be nazi strict about it, just watch out for high sugar drinks.
4.Pastas - Even though high in calories because of the carbohydrates, it is very low in fat (which is a good thing). Pasta can be made unhealthy depending on the way it is cooked. It can be cooked in oil, or topped in a fatty sauce, so watch out for that.
5.fruits and veggies!!!! - Self-explainitory and you can't get too much of them! - I really like stawberries and bananas!

That is all I can think of right now, but just remember that high calories does not always equal bad for you. Calories are mearly a measurment for energy, and it depends of how much of that energy comes from fat that determines how bad the food is for you.

Again, working out is SOOO IMPORTANT for keeping in shape!!! Try signing up for your local YMCA or another gym. Don't be intimidated by the people who work out there (I know I was a first), they are there for the same reason you are; to get into shape!

And, the most important thing is to be comfortable with yourself. You don't have to starve yourself, but find something to do with your time to forget about eating. Remember to propotionalize and only eat when you are hungery; don't let your appetite take over. The last thing you want to try is a nazi strict diet that leaves you uncomfortable all day.

Last of all, don't expect anything to be instant. It will take a while. But, if you want to see results you need to stay with your diet and don't go in and out of it, because that alone is unhealthy. If you stay strong, you will both feel better and look better!

Hey - you don't have much time! Try a water pill (one brand is Aqua ban at most pharmacies) to get rid of any extra water, do sit-ups right before the event, and continually eat fiber.
