Dude, I am a seasonal firefighter. Have been for 10 years. Just so you know, wildland firefighting is probably the grubbiest, sweattiest, nastiest work you can get your hands on. Having done this for a decade, I can tell you that there are times where showers simply aren't an option. neither is a change of underwear. I've gone a full 21 days without a shower/change of chones or socks and still managed to not turn green. And that involved hard labor every day. If you think about it, human beings weren't really designed for showering just like any other animal, except for lakes, streams etc. give it a go and see how long your colleagues can take the stench, let 'em know you're core.

If you exercise or plan on impressing anyone of the opposite gender, then don't go more than 24 hours. If not, then try 48 hours. It's not even just a stink issue, it's a personal health issue. The fewer showers you take, the more often you will get sick (in general). Although showering constantly won't keep you from ever getting sick.
A good gauge for knowing when to shower:
After you shower, set out a cup of milk on the kitchen counter. How long does it take before that starts to stink? If it starts stinking, then you are stinky, too.

I went to a rural part of Mexico for a summer mission trip with a mixed group of both genders for about a week and there were no showers available. The guys starting complaining about how each other stank after 1-2 days--they said they could smell their own odor after the 3rd, 4th day.
Just keep in mind, everyone's different. Some people start smelling very soon because their body produces oils faster and they are sweating more(maybe because of sports of physical labor) However, usually poeple can go 1 1/2 days to 2 days without smelling too bad. The most important thing is your hygiene though.

It depends on a lot of things, like how active you are, what the weather is like where you are, how much you sweat and whether you use a deodorant. If you sweat rather much, you need to shower more often than if you don't sweat.
I think you'll notice when you start stinking. Just smell yourself or your clothes in evenings and you'll know. When you start smelling your own stink it's time for a shower, because other people smell it too.

Bathe or shower whenever you wish. When I was 19, I went on a cross country trek that allowed me only a few showers a month. I'm fine. I'm sure I was pretty smelly though. I did use oils to hide the scent when I was going somewhere "public."
I'll give you about eight days til you're ripe. If you are not using oils or deodorant, 3 days.

It all depends on your body chemistry, how physically active you are, and what kind/how much deodorant you wear.
If you have a desk job and don't sweat often, you use high-quality, effective deodorant, and you're not a naturally "stinky" guys (I know some guys who are! I think it has something to do with testosterone.) then maybe every other day? If you do this, I'd suggest at least "washing up" (armpits, crotch, hands and face, etc.) between "shower" days.
If you have a physically demanding job and sweat often, probably should take a shower every day.

1 day. That's it. You cannot cut down, unless it's the weekend and you will not be around other people. If that is the case.. 3 days MAX. Take it from me... I am the only girl in an all boy family... You stink, and your underwear get dirty. At least make sure you re-apply deodorant!

I like to go a good 2-3 days. There might be some detectable odor around the last day, but it is very faint as long as you continue applying anti-perspirant. At the 3-4 day mark, your hair becomes undecently greasy. This is when you lather up.

I suggest two full days between showers if your activity level is low. I would suggest the deodorant Mitchum which allows you to skip a day. With the heat the way it has been I would suggest waiting only one day due to the possibilities of Ball Cheese and or Crotch Chili. Nasty situations indeed.

Well, you can skip the showers but you need to at least wash your private parts and maybe your pits. Your "boys" down there get smelly pretty fast and you can accumulate smegma on your sausage if you don't keep it clean.
Taking a shower is not a bad thing. Just do it at least twice a week.
