God also condemns murder, theft, vanity, greed and envy. To be sinless is impossible. Does that mean that everyone is going to hell? I don't think so.

If god is the all accepting and all loving person that he supposedly is, than absolutely yes. Nothing should get in anyone's way between them, their faith, and god, regardless of what religion you are. anyone who says otherwise is ignorant.

It is right that God created man and woman. It is true up to this time. Nothing was added. It is still man and woman. A homosexual; a gay or a ******, is still classified as man. The same is true for lesbians. They are still classified as woman. In fact, when you look at their physical structure, they are really man and woman. The only difference is their attitude and sexual preferences. A so-called homosexual is attracted to a male; while a so-called lesbian is attracted to a female — basically wanting the same sex! That is reality. But the question is their chance of salvation. Other religions are condemning these kinds of people already. Are they right in doing so? There is an answer written in 1 Corinthians 6:9-11 that goes like this—

“Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind, 10 Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God. 11 And such were some of you: but ye are washed, but ye are sanctified, but ye are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God.”

There were, in the first century Christians, these kinds of people. They have an equal chance to salvation. They just have to be baptized and be washed of their sins in the true church

There is no unique biblical prohibition against homosexuality.

The only sexual act that is specifically forbidden by the bible is having sexual relations with a married woman who is not your wife (if you are a guy).

That is it.


The bible requires or forbids lots of things that Christians conveniently overlook since it is not part of the Ten Commandments. Homosexuality and fornication are on that list, they just don't choose to ignore them like they do the rest.



Add "usury" to your list of things the bible specifically prohibits. When is the last time you heard a Christian condemn someone to hell for usury?

(I'm not defining it on purpose, because most Christians don't even know what it is without googling it)

And, it's condemned far more than sexual activity of any kind.

This is one of those loaded questions that tend to lead to much vigourous debate regarding the nature of christianity. My advice to you is to research it yourself. I'm a gay christian, and for many months I spent hours researching the internet regarding my sexuality and my religion. I also spent a lot of time praying. For this reason, I say that if you really are interested in finding the "truth" of the matter, look into it yourself and find what you believe in your heart.

I will offer a couple of points though, and some ideas about where to start looking.

1) Jesus never speaks about it. No where in the new testiment does Jesus mention homosexuality in any way.

2) The story of sodom and gomorrah do not speak of homosexuality. God was already planning on destroying those cities before he sent the angels. It was Abraham who bargained with god to send angels to find 10 godly people so that he would spare the cities. When the angels only found Lot's family, the city was destroyed.

3) Leviticus does speak about some form of homosexuality, but he also said it was a sin to wear clothing of two different fibres. It was also a sin to pick up sticks on a saturday...

4) A lot of scriptures talk against a man going from the natural to sleep with another man. Yet, ask yourself this, a gay man doesn't choose to be gay, nor does he find it natural to be attracted to woman. Indeed, being attracted to a woman would be unnatural FOR ME. What is natural doesn't necessarily refer to what is considered "normal" or "more common".

Now, I'm no expert on these things. However, to me, I am at peace with myself and with God that my sexuality isn't a sin.

Jesus paid the ransom so that ALL people might be saved. Yes, even homosexuals and bisexuals. But once that happens, if we are sincere, the Holy Spirit comes into us and begins to work on us and change us from within to conform our actions to become more like those of Christ.

People may be surprised to know that Jesus talked with the "undesirables" of His time -- prostitutes, homeless people, etc. Obviously He doesn't condone prostitution, because it is sin, but He does accept everyone that calls on Him and a change will be made within them to become more Christ-like.

For some, it may happen faster than others, but no one will be perfected on this world. That will not happen until we reach Heaven.

It's not for us Christians to decide. God is the only one who knows. In the Bible, it does say that homosexuality (that includes bisexual activity because one is sleeping with a person of the same sex as if it were the opposite sex) is an abomination to the Lord. God can help change a person and teach him or her to know and follow Him. Everyone, even Christians, have problems to deal with. Only Jesus knows his true followers. Christians are called to pray, not judge.

Think of this. Whom are you hurting by being homosexual or bisexual. How is that anybody's business? How many people learnt you were having sex last time you did it? No one but your partner? Well, that shows people cannot possibly be affected by your sexual practice. Whatever you do will not influence at all anybody else on earth. So how could that be wrong or bad or a sin, comparable to murdering, robbing or kidnapping?

Yes. It is not acceptable to do homosexual things, just as it is unacceptable for heterosexuals to commit heterosexual sins. For example, a man who cheats on his wife is in the same moral quagmire as a man who sleeps with a man.

Again, it is acceptable to BE a homosexual and be a Christian, it is wrong to do homosexual acts.

No, the two go together like waffle iron and forehead. It just doesn't work that way. Someone with that philosophy will have some splainin to do when they get in front of the great white throne judgment seat of God.

Jesus loves and cares for all. Even homosexuals and bisexuals, but like all, they need to repent of their sins. With the Holy Spirit working in them, those changes will come.

This is a perversion of the human mind and lust. God did not create man and woman for nothing. They were meant for each other. Homos and bi's are sinners according to the Holy Bible. They are an abomination unto the Lord. Society in general doesn't accept them. How can a Holy God accept this perversion. Those who practice it say its a life style. It is NOT a life style. Its a perversion of the mind and a sick one to boot.

It's not acceptable to most "Christians". Those wonderfully forgiving people with that title would most likely cross the street to keep from speaking to a homosexual or bi.
And if that person walked into their church, they would be asked to leave, or even worse, be "prayed" over for their sinful ways.
Christianity is a EXCLUSIVE organization, no matter how much they say they aren't. I do believe that if there is a God, He is probably INCLUSIVE with His love of all people.
