It's sad to say, but I'm not even sure that the story is legit. My father fought his battle with cancer and lost at the age of 49, so cancer really tugs the strings of my heart. I hate to think that there are people out there who scam people out of money with stories like these, but the sad truth is that there is. My only problem with this is that there is an organization out there called the "make a wish foundation" in which that is exactly what they do, they take people (children especially) and make their wishes come true, so to say that they only way her dreams will come true is to donate your money is simply not true when there are organizations like these. Therefore I would recommend that if you do want to donate money, do so with a legitimate program such as the make a wish foundation. If you do donate money to this girl, I would look up the town that the she is from and call the local news-station, search the local papers, to find if this story is legit, or if it is a fabrication. And if it is legit, you should feel great for donating money.

It says "tax free", not "tax deductible", which is somewhat suspicious, and probably isn't even legal. Since this is not a genuine "charity", and is "selling" bracelets rather than giving them as thank-yous for a donation, I very much doubt its veracity. The story may even be true, but there are thousands of kids out there with cancer.

If you want to help, find one in your town and help them. If this little girl is real, of course she deserves help, but does she really deserve it more than someone in your neighborhood just because someone made her a website? I don't think so. Save the postage. Give $5 to a neighbor whose kid has cancer.

Probably not, I'm helping myself with cancer. Also, have become kind of a synic and wonder about scams. You would not believe all of the junkmail and donation requests I get just because I got onto a mailing looking for information for myself.

Go to www.GoXanthones.com and listen to the audio links on cancer by Dr. John Edwards. He has been using mangosteen juice as a supplement for his cancer patients with good results.

To obtain mangosteen juice go to www.mangosteendiscovery.com. You can order right from that site. All natural and tastes great! Definately not a scam
