If it's still frozen and has been frozen the whole time then it's still good, though a fresh chicken will taste a little better. Chicken has a shelf life of about 3 to 5 days if it's kept around 41 degrees in the fridge, and a shelf life of 7 days if it's been cooked thoroughly to an internal temperature of 165 F and held at that temp for 15 seconds or more. Between 140 and 70 degrees bacteria grows most quickly, doubling every 15 minutes.

You should throw the chicken away.......Freezing does not stop the deterioration of food; it only slows it down.......6 months is a bit too long...... :-)

it depends or how it was stored. If it was in a vaccum packed bag then yeah it should still be good in six months but if it was stored without much care I would toss it, but if you need it, check for any mold or any other odd things on it
