Jesus was born in the human form. He experience joy and pain as any normal human being. He was tempted too just like a human being, but did not yield to temptation. He overcame the temptation by the Word of God. He silenced Satan through the Word of God. He quoted scriptures saying, You shall worship God alone and Him you shall serve.

Its a pointer for us, when we are tempted, to use the Word of God and overcome Satan and his evil designs.
