How do I stop myself from talking to my boyfriend as if he was a child?
Everytime I get upset I blow fire!!!! I don't hear a word coming out of his mouth and I just continue to yell and get what I have to say off of my chest. He never yells back never hit me never reacted in a violent manner. I never does this in front of anyone just in the comfort of our home. But then I always and up apologizing for it later. But because of this he never asks me whats wrong or do I need to talk if I look upset. How do I stop this from taking over me and just telling him its o.k. and then go rant and rave to a girlfriend later? I need some suggestions not smart @$$ comments.
Thanx

deep breaths and count to ten. It is ok to get mad, even fight, but remember to fight fair, follow the rules!
no name calling,
no hitting
no brining up stuff that happened before, let it go
those are pretty much the rules.....

I am also trying from shouting when am angry. One of my friend suggested that I should stop, breathe, relax, say everything I want to say in my head and if it sounds ok to me, then say it aloud. Chances are that I do not, coz once I hear what am about to say, I just keep quiet. It is a struggles, particulary when am provoked, i just let it flow and then feel bad. But am working on it. Try it, it might work for you.

sounds like you need to dump this guy, he's doing some passive/agressive stuff to you, and that's mentally abusive...
