Since you say "Karate Movie" I have to say
The Karate Kid.
That movie got alot of kids interested in Karate and did alot for the art. Yes, it's sort of a dumb movie, but it did alot for Karate in the U.S.
The best Martial arts movie is a harder one. I like all the Bruce Lee movies, but I also like the chinese fighting movies that they used to show on "Kung-Fu Theatre" on Sunday afternoons.
Any movie that entertains and doesn't ake itself too seriously like Jean-Claude Van Damme and Steven Seagal movies.
