Well this is a difficult choice but i would prefer to be with someone who loves me and who I can later develop feelings or even love for. I would choose this because I have been in a relationship with someone I loved but didn't feel the same way. He was just possessive, jealous and infatuated. It was horrible and I have barely recovered from that experience. It sort of scared my outlook on life. It might sound a little selfish but I think I would be with someone I at least like if the person loves me.

To be with someone is making your life worthwhile not miserable. It is better not to be with the person you think you can live with but with the person you think you can't live without. It takes two to tango.
A good relationship is being there for the other in bad times as well as the good. Love for each other stands through thick and thin, no matter how hot the trials or how hard the test. It never loses hope. It's always there, always dependable, always ready with outstretched hands and open arms to take the other in--to love, to comfort, to listen, to open up, to hold, and to cherish. If these qualities are missing, the relationship will erode as resentment, withdrawal, abuse, neglect, dishonesty and pain replace the passion and will end to separation or divorce.

i would hope the person I love loves me back so in a way it has to be both, or then it is a one way relationship and those go nowhere.

both-im with someone who loves me very much and im with someone i love very much as well. you just don't know how it feels to love someone and being love back. we're both content and enjoy every bit of being together. we are well adjusted to one another, we are perfectly matched.

i only could be with someone that i loved. i don't care if he loved me. it would not work unless we both loved each other.
