Im probably answering my own question.....but is mingling and just talking to a bunch of people all the time saying what i feel like the way to cure shyness.....any other suggestions will be appreciated so long as its relevant...and im not just talking about the opposite sex....im talking about general shyness and shyness with the girls for me

I used to have that problem. I never really talked to anybody. Well until I switched schools and went to highschool. I found the best way to make friends was to talk and ask questions and listen to them. That is the best way. And I am so glad I took that step and talked to ppl I didnt know. And now I have a bunch of great friends and stuff. You never know who you will meet. Just say hello or smile or something. Be friendly.

A simple thing you can do to get ride of shyness is to treat everyone you meet as if....You have known them your entire life, you never have met a stranger, show confidence in your self and you will shine.
Also you can pick up a self hypnosis book to learn some fun things to do at a party.

its never really helped with myself. shyness is usually somehow either inherited or taught however you want to look at it...
the usual way that i get over it is just the right amount of alcohol..not so much as to sound retarded but just enough to loosen up and talk to whoever and just let your inner-self out
