I agree with one of your answers. Depends on what type of fishing you are doing. I am assuming you are talking freshwater. Trout are easily spooked and using a buzz bait would probably scare them off. Those types of lures are made for aggresive fish like bass, pike, walleye etc. Try a spinner instead.

me and hubby fish at the spillway all the time and have never caught a trout on a buzz bait, they will hit a rooster tail every time (white or chartruse will get em) the only luck that i have had with a buzz bait was a bass and that was it. it's supposed to be a good bait for many fish, but i haven't seen any trout caught on em where i fish at.

truthfully, i've got caught far greater trout with bait than with a entice...yet it fairly is likewise as a results of fact i've got fished far greater for trout with bait than with lures. As for a on a regular basis time-honored, i might say i've got carried out greater perfect in line with day with lures, distinctly in case you incorporate fly fishing. Get countless diverse lures...kastmasters, daredevle spoons, panther martin, fowl tail, lil' cleo, blue fox vibrax, floating rapalas, dynamic HD Trout jerkbaits, small 2-3" tube jigs and curly tail grubs, 2-3" plastic swimbaits. Get a good determination and you're good to pass.

Mepps Lures work great, Salmon eggs work too!.
Trout love flys, and if you get the proper fly that rersembles what is flying ouyt there, you can catch some real big ones.

Depends what you mean by "buzzer" in the UK we use small flies made of epoxy resin called buzzers, they're the most popular flies on the lake that I fish, taking lots of trout every week.

That depends. Are you talking about saltwater or freshwater?
You can catch speckled trout on topwaters.
