listen 2 wat ur heart says not wat others say! however my opinion is if u really like the guy go for it when i was a very mature 12 yr old i went out wit a 16 yr old so it think it will be ok just make sure he knows ur boundries and dont let him take advantage of u i made it clear that the farthest i would go is kissing and he respected my choice hopefully this guy will do the same 4 u i hope my advice helps and i wish u the best of luck!!! <3 lots of luv!!

Well the answer here is do you like him? If so are you willing to take criticism from people? And what do you mean by nerdy? Do you mean that he does not have good physical appearance or social skills? Or is it that he is an enthusiast whose interest are too scientific things? To get to my point, I am too a nerd to some extent, and unfortunately I was the nerdy type which does not have good physical appearance or social skills, so I never got the pleasure to be with someone. I personally think that if you give this nerdy kid a chance you will make his life a little better. It is bad enough he is consider a nerdy guy. If you are truly mature you will go out with him and will not let get to you.

NO!!!!! 12 years old, you have your whole life ahead of you. Don't try getting serious with relationships until you are at least 25! Read books, take dance lessons, hang out with parents, and do good in school. Love will find you later on after you have learned to be independent and self supporting.

Seriously, you shouldn't. You don't want to get involved with older guys. I know your very mature, and you probably are, but guys are not. Guys are ready for more things than you may be, and interested in things that you should not be getting involved in.

You are perhaps, very mature for you age, but you are STILL just 12 years old, and should not be dating yet.
If it's a group thing, like a large group of friend going to a daytime movie or something, perhaps ....
Just my opinion.
Do things age appropriate ... don't grow yourself up too fast!
Age appropriate = hanging out with your girl friends, learning hobbies, reading, sports activities, etc.

its only 3 years but 12 and 15 are big differences in maturaty. i wouldn't do it. stick to your age group for right now. wait till you get older to even worry about going out with guys. its really pointless at that age. all your gonna do is get hurt and concentrate on things that don't matter

if you were my daughter you wouldn't be dating until you were 18. So my answer to this no. What makes you so mature? usually when a girl says they're mature, they are far from it.
A mature girl wouldn' t ask such a question.
