i want to go from dallas texas, to oakland, california...one way ticket with restrictions, i'd be choosing american airlines...how much would this be around 100-200-or300?...any suggestions are good, thanks

It depends on the days and times you want to fly.

You'd be better off getting a round-trip ticket even if you don't use it because they are cheaper.

The absolute best airline for one-way's is southwest airlines. They actually sell all thier fares as one-way's - if you purchase 14 days in advance, many of the flights are $77

You might end up getting a better deal by buying a round-trip ticket and using only part of it.

There are exceptions to that, like Southwest, I believe, which does not care and prices one-way roughly at the half price of a roundtrip (at least they used to).

It depends on when you want to go, if you have an airline preference, and if you are flying economy, business, or first class.

Call the different air lines. the prices are different. I get my rides thru Expenda. One way fares usually cost more . Pem
