Depends on your age and previous experience. If it is your first time then it is best to wait until you know you love that person and vise-versa. Don't rush into it; get to know the other person for at least 6 months. If you are experienced and not a teenager then it depends on what you want...sex or a relationship. For a relationship you should date awhile until you know you both care about each other.
