That is what the Bible calls it. Don't let the lies that the Bible doesn't mention it or that it is talking about something else fool you. The Greek word used in the test I pasted here is rather explicit in describing homosexual activity. Note what verse 11 says though, "Some of you used to do those things. But your sins were washed away. You were made holy. You were made right with God."

It is NOT a permanent thing. Nobody was born that way. It can be changed and forgiven.

1Corinthians 6:9 Don’t you know that evil people will not receive God’s kingdom? Don’t be fooled. Those who commit sexual sins will not receive the kingdom. Neither will those who worship statues of gods or commit adultery. Neither will men who are prostitutes or who commit homosexual acts. 10 Neither will thieves or those who always want more and more. Neither will those who are often drunk or tell lies or cheat. People who live like that will not receive God’s kingdom. 11 Some of you used to do those things. But your sins were washed away. You were made holy. You were made right with God. All of that was done in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God.

God hates it and he wrote it openly in the bible. It says it in Leviticus chapter 18 verse 22 “Do not lie with a male as one lies with a woman; it is an abomination”. And in Genesis chapter 2 verse24 God told Adam and announced to the world “Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife, and they shall be one flesh.” This means that they must only cling to their mate and to nothing else.
If you claim to be an atheist, try doing it a trillion times. According to evolution statistics your boyfriend will give birth by then to a baby monkey.
If you claim to be a christian, you also don't have to worry. Christianity has done away with most laws that are written in the old testament. But mark the words of Matthews "Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law (the Old Testament) or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them but to fulfill them. I tell you the truth, until heaven and earth disappear, not the smallest letter, not the least stroke or a pen, will by any means disappear from the Law (the Old Testament) until everything is accomplished. (Matthew 5:17-18)". The later christains wanted to have good time, and claimed that once jc came, it is a free for all. The only thing you have to do is believe, and be a nice person. But in order not to have a complete chaos, they decided to keep certain things. The only reason that they are still those against homosexuality is because most men don't have the urge for it. If they did, they all would have gotten rid of this law long ago. Many priests do it. Don't worry there will come a day that the pope himself we be one, and it will be considered a noble act.
So decide what you want to do, god’s will or your own!

I don't believe it is a sin. Some say it is because gays can't marry so they are having sex without being married. However that isn't always true now is it? There are places that gay marriages are legal and some religions will marry gays. So they are having sex while being married. Some say it says so in the bible but if you look you can also find passages that says it is ok to have sex with someone of the same sex. Just like someone saying that the bible says you shouldn't eat animals but then you can find where it says that eating animals is ok.

First, being homosexual is not a sin, but homosexual acts are. It is important to separate the person and the act. Just because someone sins, does not mean that they're bad people, but they have committed the act of sin and need to seek forgiveness from Jesus.

In Christianity, it is stated in the bible that homosexual acts are an abomination unto the Lord. It's in various parts of the bible, Leviticus, Romans, and I think Acts.

It does not mean that homosexuals are not loved by the Lord, only if they partake in homosexual encounters is it a grave sin, which separates them from God as does all sin.

Being gay is more than a sin, it is sick. And sad to say that our country is full of it. About 90% of the population are gay, how sad. So sad. San francisco is close to 99% gay. The Lord Is not happy with that at all.

Being gay is being confused, not a sin. Homosexual acts are a sin.

Yes, it is a sin. However, the Catholic Church does teach that some people are gay because of a number of reasons, and that we are to love them no differently than we love each other. The love of Christ will heal them, like it will heal each of us.

I have many gay friends & they are FAR less sinful than conservatives who are so closed minded that they can't see their own faults & push their views on others
