Christians can validly support the right of the Jews to live and have a nation.

This does not mean that we need to agree with everything that Israel does.

Having said that, I support the right of Israel to defend itself against extermination by Muslims.

You may be aware that many Muslim leaders and organizations have stated that their ultimate goal is the complete eradication of Israel (and of Jews).

Cordially,
John

I feel that everyone should support Israel. If you know the real hidden agenda of the Arab nations around Israel, I think anyone with a clear conscience and a righteous heart would support Israel, The aim of Hezbollah, Iran, Syria, Iraq, Palestine, etc is to wipe Israel from the face of the earth. If you study history, you will know that from the first day that Israel came into existence as a nation, they had ganged up to do just that.

I sure don't. With the possible exception of my own nation (the US), they are the single most arrogant country on the face of the planet. They go it alone, consequences to Arab civilians caught in the middle of their little firefights be damned.

Any government that shows such contempt for human life as Israel does deserves NO support from ANYONE, especially Christians. That's my opinion, and I'm sticking to it.

Although the Jews don't believe in Jesus and consider him and his mother PBUT liars, and they tried to kill him as they killed hundreds of prophets before him, but Christians support them against Muslims who believe in, respect, and love Jesus and his moher PBUT, what a contradiction? In my opinion this is because truth all the time be in one side, while falsehood in the other. I am not saying this to insult any body, but this is an invitation for thinking. Paul (Saul) invented trinity and deviated Christianity to make Christians servants for the Jews all the time and till they build the third temple in preparation for the coming of antichrist (the Jews most waited along history).

yes. I do as one. I love Israel (people and the land)i've been there twice so far.

As a citizen of the US it is the only reason in which I consientously object to fighting is if the US went against Israel militarily.

Absolutely! Jews, unlike Muslims, do NOT want to take over the world and send us ALL back to the dark ages....see "Ottoman Empire" for proof. If you ladies like to vote, wear mascara, etc, you must understand that if the Mullahs take over, you will become nothing more than "barefoot & pregnant in the kitchen", with no rights whatsoever!

The following article was taken from http://www.cnn.com/2001/WORLD/meast/09/18/vic.terror.iraq/index.html. At the end of the article, CNN tells us that "Iraq blames the United States for the deaths of 1.5 million Iraqis as a result of U.N. economic sanctions imposed after the Gulf War."

Contrasting messages from Iraq on terror attacks

September 18, 2001 Posted: 8:41 AM EDT (1241 GMT)

BAGHDAD, Iraq (CNN) -- In a letter to a U.S. anti-sanctions group, Iraqi Deputy Prime Minister Tariq Aziz expressed "warm sympathies" over terrorist attacks that leveled the World Trade Center in New York and damaged the Pentagon in Washington, the official Iraqi News Agency reported Tuesday.

September 18, 2001 Posted: 8:41 AM EDT (1241 GMT)

Aziz extended his condolences to the "victims of the incident of 11 September" in a letter addressed to Kathy Kelly, co-founder of Voices in the Wilderness.

"Through you, I extended my condolences to the families of the victims and especially the honorable American people who were in solidarity with the Iraqi people," it said.

The Aziz letter was in marked contrast to an open letter to Americans and Westerners and their governments from Iraqi leader Saddam Hussein that was read Saturday on Iraqi television.

In the letter, he criticized the United States and Arab rulers who "rushed to condemn the event" of Tuesday's terror attacks on New York and Washington.

"What happened on September 11, 2001, should be compared to what their government and their armies are doing in the world," the statement read, blaming the deaths of 1.5 million Iraqis due to the blockage imposed by the United States and other Western nations.

"Americans should feel the pain they have inflicted on other peoples of the world, so as when they suffer they will find the right solution and the right path."

Absolutely.

God has not forsaken Israel...why should we? As Paul teaches:

"In this way, all Israel will be saved. As it is written, "The Deliverer will come from Zion; he will remove ungodliness from Jacob. This is my covenant with them when I take away their sins." As far as the gospel is concerned, they are enemies for your sake, but as far as election is concerned, they are loved because of their ancestors. For God's gifts and calling never change." (Romans 11:26-29)

If that is good enough for God, then it's good enough for me. Who am I to question His ways?

btw mashuga, that was awesome!

Gen 12:1 (KJV) "Now the LORD had said unto Abram, Get thee out of thy country, and from thy kindred, and from thy father's house, unto a land that I will shew thee: And I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing: And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed".

This is talking about the state of Israel. Any nation or person who goes against Israel shall be cursed. Any nation or person who is for Israel, shall be blessed.

Answer to your question... yes all true believers in the Living God should support Israel. I sure do!

Jerusalem would make an excellent nuclear waste repository.

I'm with the previous answer (Imagineworld) about being sick & tired of Israelis & Palestinians murdering each other. I'm nearly 60 and that's all I have heard my entire life.

"Palestinians murder Israelis" or "Israelis murder Palestinians" has probably been written more times than any other phrase throughout all of history.

Nuke all of them and be done with it already.
