Bruce Lee is the only person on that list who ever actually fought people in reality.
Jet Li was a national champion at Wu Shu, which is basically a combination of martial arts and gymnastics for display purposes only. He has no real fighting experience and would be eaten alive in the world of MMA.

The main decision would be between Bruce Lee and Jet Li. For Steven Seagal, his learning history on Aikido is somewhat dubious. Van Damme is Damme from the start (only good for watching on TV not real fighting). Jackie Chan (I loved his show by the way) is more of an acrobat (picks up his skill at the opera house). But Bruce Lee and Jet Li are martial arts champions (ie they have title belts to their name). Between the 2, I would still think it would be Bruce Lee. I do not think that anyone has brought martial arts to new heights apart from Bruce.

chuck norris is a pansy A$$ bytch, jet li would win if he had strings attached to his jump suite....pfffft Jackie chan would win if he had like 50 million objects to throw at his opponent or a tennis court sized room to flip around in...... pfffft
Steven Seagal was a 5 time winner of whatever he studies but he hasn't fought outside a street ever.....pffft Van Damme is a total and complete fawking joke he would win if he had two chairs to do the splits on and a whole team of choreographers to tell his opponent to do this and van damme counters this and so on pffffft SO! that leaves the only man that was a true fighter of the streets......yep thats him Bruce Lee.

Jet Li is the only asian i know who can make a full course meal while in mid air........he is also a fake.
Chuck Norris........well chuck norris is a horrible actor and a horrible martial artist because of the simple fact that he hasn't stood up to the pump to fight challengers off the street. On top of that hes a world renowned class A A$$Hole
The real truth is Soontobeit is right. They are all one dimentional hollywood (ACTORS) Thespians. Except I gotta give it up to Bruce cause he is and always will be the father of Mixed Martial Arts in a sense with Jeet Kune Do. Bruce in my opinion.

Van Damme got his *** kicked at a club a few months ago so he's out, Jackie Chan uses too many props so i think he would be easy t defeat, steven Segal is just too fat he get tired, and would probably talk too much, so in the End it would be Bruce Lee Vs Jet Li Jet Li is nice and all but Bruce Lee fighting is crazy, he would be too fast for Jet Li so Bruce Lee would win.
Theres this Guy from Taiwan or Combodia or somethin but he is a killa, i saw him in a movie rescuing his elephants and ****, but that guy is nice he would probably give Bruce Lee a run for his money.

First of all anyone well trained martial artist wouldn't waste his time fighting for pure fun or challenge.
Second these guys all made tons of cash on the big screen and probably wouldn't life a finger without millions of dollars on contract.
Good idea but who knows unless this fight took place. I'd go wiht Jet Li or Bruce Lee though. KUNG FU is mighty! But Jackie kicks butt too.
I know Seagal has been choked out on set by Gene Lebell so I think he'd get his butt handed to him by these guys, but I like his movies.

steven seagal; because he always carries a gun.
If no guns involved. Jet Li and bruce lee would win.
Because jackie chan, van damme and seagal's martial arts are more of the defensive nature whereas jet li and bruce lee is more of the offensive.
And also because jet li and bruce lee striking movements are faster.

Van Damme. He is far more powerful than the others, although Bruce Lee probably would win on pure skill. However, Chuck Norris would beat them all. No - that's not an internet joke although they are damn funny, but Chuck Norris is in a different weight class than these guys (except Seagal, who just isn't going to win this).

most diffinitely bruce lee...then jet li then jack chan then steven seagal and then lastly jean van damme.
but between jet li and jackie chan would be a good one to watch,but probably li.his eyes make me think that
but bruce would always come on top.

and dont count seagal out to quickly,he is a true red dragon (i think thats the name) in aikido. he is a master in real life.
