Only a lawyer can help at this point.
Besides he'll get tired of taking care of her. It's a big job.
If a judge motioned to take the child there must be a reason.
I think you are in denial. What did you do? It is rare a child is taken away from a mother.

I agree with some here, there had to be a basis for her to be taken from you. Some kind of proof that she wasn't in a great environment. Your situation might be complicated, or not. Whichever, I hope you still have some rights to see her. You sound like you're a caring mother if you cry every night. How horrible. Reach out and talk to someone, a counselor maybe.
And, pray. For the best for everyone in the situation. I believe there can be two wrong parties, maybe one was just put in the spotlight and not the other? If both are worried about the safety of the child, you know? If you try to make him look bad being spiteful ( playing his game maybe) she could get taken away from both of you, and if you did state this ( that she was being abused by him) why would he have her? Take care of yourself, reach out, and work towards joint custody. No child should be torn from either caring parent.

Go through every parenting program that cps gives you to do- NEVER miss a day, don't do any drugs, or smoke,or drink booze, get into church, take some classes so you can get a good job and make a comfy, safe, and reliable home for her and then wait for your worker to check you out to make sure everything is done right. If you think he is hurting her now-call cps and tell them but be sure to take pictures and write down everything with the date and time and any witnesses that saw the bruises/injuries, or the abuse being done. If you just call and say that he is hurting her, it will be your word against his. I pray that she is safe and that your family will be healed in Jesus' name. Amen

Gosh, it's hard to understand what's going on here. Can you go into more detail about your situation? How exactly did the baby's father get custody of her?

Get a Lawyer. NOW. Do not listen to anyone from CPS when they say you don't need one. Sell everything you can if you have to but whatever it takes get a lawyer.
