Absolutely, the only potential issue I think is where you both stand on having children together. I'm 46 with 2 kids who are 22 and 20 and I've taken steps to ensure that I won't be fathering any more. I have gone out with women in their early 30's some who wanted children and others who don't. I always say that age is just a number, as long as you're on the same page regarding children I don't think you have any additional obstacles that other couples don't also face. Good luck

Mine didn't and he was 15 years older, but it was because he was also from a different culture. The age gap will only make it more difficult, and so does a culture gap. Both put together make for a tough marriage. Mine didn't work. HOpe this helps.
The age gap causes many incompatibilities such as an energy gap that can't be erased. Especially when you go on vacations together and all he wants to do is sit around.

Yes it can at your age. He should be mature and know what he wants in life and not a game player. At his age guys are usually done with the head games and childish things.I prefer men older than myself and I'm 54.I'm not saying all men are like this but there is a better chance than a 24 year old or around that age.

no it will not work because that 49 year old man cant give you what a 30 year old man can, or any man in the 30's can

Sure it can if you do not allow your friends or relatives to mess it up for you. Just stay away from anyone who would have an opinion which could be negative.
Do your own thing, it will work out, ok.
