She always wants to come in and investigate when I'm in there. I'm just wondering if this is normal indoor cat behavior, and if anybody elses cat does this too.

Mine does it all the time. they come in because it's time when all your doing is sitting and ...well you know and they know that so they come in and think that it's the best time for you to pay attention to him/her. it's time when you can pet them and rub them! (in my opinion)! : )

My cat does this too, he runs in right behind me every time I need to go to the bathroom or when I'm taking a bath or shower. My cat is mainly an indoor cat, I know it's kind of funny ,but I'm sure this is normal behavior.

They understand we are trapped there! and we can't go away for a on an identical time as.. so as that they take great thing approximately our helplessness in the only place in the abode they are able to continuously get center degree. Cats love being in the limelight, and we could face it there no longer plenty else to do yet puppy the cat on an identical time as your on the bathroom. it is the only place in the abode the cat can do despite he needs to you and you basically take a seat there..! For cats the bathing room is the terrific room in the abode it has all their well known issues.. water, which they're the two enamoured of and repelled via, sinks and tubs which they adore exploring or sitting in or drowsing in or eating out of.. and individuals, human beings doing eye-catching issues! I certainly have 4 cats and that i now and back choose i ought to circulate to the bathing room on my own, yet all of them circulate to me while i'm in there and could paw under the door and claw to get in if I lock them out! 3 like eating out of the empty tub, one loves stretching and rolling on the mat and rubbing on my legs, 2 walk around the tub while i'm in it, and one headbutts me in the top and purrs every time i'm in there.. they simply love the bathing room! lol playstation I call my cat Pearl Ninja Cat, via fact no count number the place she is in the abode, in case you circulate to the bathing room and close the door.. once you turn around, she'll be there! She's so quickly you do no longer even see her run in there in the previous you shut the door!

She wants to be around you also she may like the humidity in the bathroom.. I had a cat who used to sleep on the bathroom carpet when I took shower (its like a must thing for him).. Another cat hated being alone when I was in the bathroom so he had to come with me otherwise he used to cry front of the door.

Ya know, I don't know. My cat does the same darn thing. I'm in the restroom and I see his paw under the door and he meows as if saying " hey, come on! let me in!" I think it's just the bond ya have. MY cat follows me everywhere. Sometimes it's annoying. I get up at 4 am to go to work and I have to be careful where I walk because he is always right under my feet. CONSTANTLY. but I love him so whatever.

Very normal, I'd say :o). My kitten insists on opening the shower door when I'm showering, and my 5-year-old cat just HAS to sit on the side of the tub and watch me take a bubble bath. I won't even get started on my 8-year-old cat who's in love with me ;o).

Feel the love!

Cats are nosey! They are like little kids, always going where they aren't suppose to. My cat loves coming into the bathroom when I'm in there. If the door is shut, she sits outside of it and meows until I open the door and let her in.

I hardly ever get the bathroom alone. If it's not the cat in there, it's the dog. Right now the dog is laying on the floor on one side and the cat on the other. When I get up to go to bed they'll follow me. The cat lays up above my head and the dog lays beside it on the floor. In the morning the cat will try to wake me up and if I don't wake up he'll wake up the dog to wake me up by pounding her tail against the closet door or rubbing her back on the mattress so it moves. I know they say your pets love you, but this is nuts. They're smothering me....

I have one cat that likes the bathroom and is more loveable in there than anywhere else... I have found they all have a favorite room where they prefer to visit you in and for some reason feel the most happy and comfortable in there...Thats my experience anyway, one cat was happiest in the basement, one in the living room, one in the bathroom, and one in the kitchen, and one in the bedroom...LOL it is wierd but true.
