Because they're stuck in time... in the American Mexican War. I think that they have a right to be in the USA only if they have their paper work done and become legal citizens. I'm in Chile and I may not have been born there but I have an ID card, passport, etc. and entered legally, because my mother is Chilean but I still have my US passport, Social Security # because I'm American. I know you might say that I'm a hypocrit but I think it's only fair that illegals become legal if they want to be Americans, I mean in Chile I have a dual-citizenship (Constitution says it can happen) but when I go back home, I'll be an American.

Simple, because 'certain parties' have been brain-washing them with the entitlement mentality. There's a bona-fide politicial push, both inside and outside the United States(yes, I do believe they're working together on this, it's a joint project) to deliberately bypass and circumvent any/all relevant laws regarding immigration.
The reason? Why, money, of course. Some things never change, including the motivations and low, low ethical standards that motivate a lot of these people with their undue interest in our immigration policies. Call it what you want, subversion, corruption, it all amounts to the same thing. Baby goes in front of the TV camera, meanwhile 8 trucks full of pot drive BEHIND the camera...we're being lied to on a pretty grand scale with the whole immigration business, it's time to nail down the corners that are still flapping around out there and letting people profit by all of this. Stop the profits, stop the motivation for doing any of it...

For years many Americans looked the other way when the US benefited from the illegal immigrant labor force. So in their own way illegal immigrants believe they have contributed to our economy's growth and believe they deserve to be here.
Mostly everyone here has roots to another country, so I suppose nobody really has the right to determine who stays or goes.

Immigrants are people that's why!. people have a little something which is called: human rights..and as humans they have all the rights in the world. whether you and your circle of friends like it or not. they have rights here and anywhere. You're not better than them, just like they're not better than you. And just (FYI_ for your info: THESE COUNTRY IS FOUNDED IN IMMIGRATION. and I'm pretty sure that somewhere along your line you will find that after all you're an immigrant as well..or are you a native American?????
thanks!

Because they don't speak English so they don't know what being an Illegal Immigrant actually means. And plus America is 'the land of the free' <- biggest load of B.S. ever.

look at it this way. at least they aren't doing what america did to the people who this land belonged to before it was "america". Mexicans could take over revolt and take it back by force. I mean that is how america got this land anyway right?
So hey they are here so what. make them work, they pay taxes, its not like its only illegal immigrants who are getting assistance....

because the US is a free country, and if you have a problem with them go to Bush, and if your family is from a different country would you not like the US to accept them, think about it and you realized that you are wrong about illegal immigrants

Arrogance. Why should they follow our laws, when they didn't in their own country. Some have told me that they deserve rights here because they are human and need to feed their families. Americans don't need to do anything because we are all millionaires. That's what I have been told by some, not all, but quite a few. I was shock to know that Honda Pilots are nice vehicles too. I thought they were useful for my soccer mom duties.

The assumption that since immigration laws haven't been enforced recently they are some how entitled to being here.
