There's a GREAT baby name book called "The Perfect Name" and it's by Jeanine Cox and the editors of Babyzone. It gives you a step-by-step guide to naming your baby. It goes into a lot of easy-to-read details about naming boys and girls, traditions around the world, what to consider when choosing a name.... OK, let me just tell you what the chapters are:
1. A Baby By Any Other Name ...Is Still Your Baby (trust your instincts)
2. What to Consider When Choosing A Name
3. Baby Naming Traditions Around the World
4. Suiting Your Style
5. Making Your Final Selection and Loving It!
Of course, there are pages and pages of great names (I should sell this book, huh?)
Alright, I'll finally answer your question:
Boy Names I Favor: Jonathan, Jack, Ben, Oliver.
Girl Names: Elizabeth, Gracie, Ella, Christina.
Good luck in your naming journey!

The name I always wanted to name my little girl (if I had one) was Ambria Rose. But, since I can't have children of my own, I'm adopting one...a little girl named Kelli Kay. So, I really like both names. As far as a boy...I love the name Kaydon Christopher and Shad Alexander. No particular reason...just nice names. :)

i always liked names that aren't too far out, as the child is straddled with this name for the rest of his/her life. consider the child's future, too. there was only one calvin as president of the usa but plenty of georges, bills, johns, et cetera. i kind of like james, michael, joshua, samuel,. to me they signify strength, ability, leadership. for girls/women (to be) : emma, emma-lee, gwendolyn, sarah (or sara), esther. i'm not religious, by any stretch of the imagination but for sheer inspiration, open the bible of any religion, peruse the names mentioned. they're all good. you could even go classical and select a male or female name from the romans or greeks. their names weren't too shabby. any name that has lasted through the centuries can't be all bad. right? you also might be the parent of the first female president and wouldn't you want her's to be a name remembered throughout the ages?
