I'm looking for some cheap, wooden boxes that I can use as a place to store memories for someone. It doesn't have to be huge, but I want one about as big as a square-like shoebox. Does anyone knkow where I can buy one? Thanks!

no.. i'm NOT using it as a coffin. it's going to be a gift for a friend. i'm going to put little things that remind her of all our fun times. it's kinda like a memory box.

I've gone to antique stores to get stuff like that. It can be pretty or just quirky. Or, of course, you could try a thrift store.

Other than that, I'd just say to build it yourself. All you need is a few spare pieces of wood and some nails. Give it your own personal flare!
