I figure Heaven "without rewards" will be like a really nice hotel room, while Heaven "with rewards" will be more of a luxurious honeymoon suite.
I'm speaking figuratively, of course. My point is that even the bare-bones version of Heaven is going to be really, really nice. The rewards reserved for the especially good are just going to make it that much nicer.

Yes there will be different rewards in Heaven, but like the person before me has said, there also we be no jealousy there either. Some people will be rewarded simply because they stood strong in their faith in the face of death(think about the missionaries in Asia and Africa who get killed because they would not forsake God and turn to Islam or Hinduism, and even closer to home, the young lady who was asked if she believed in God before she was shot down at Columbine.) People who reach Heaven will be rejoicing and happy that they are not in Hell to worry about who has a bigger reward than another.

wow well if god really loves us all like his own children then why would he set up such a reward system. No one should be rewarded for being a good person....you just should be because its the right thing to do whether there is a god or not. Furthermore any truly loving parent like god claims to be would never set up his children to envious of who gets more in heaven that would be the height of sibling rivalry and then heaven would be no better place then the hell we have on earth now would it be.....food for thought.....quit trying to out do the other christians by earning more rewards if you truly are a good person your space in heaven is safe. relax and enjoy life god wanted us to be happy

The reward is eternal union with God; eternal happiness and joy and exhileration and peace and life with God beyond your wildest imagination. That is your reward, and it is the same for everyone. No one gets more or gets less than anyone else. It is all equal.

The Bible says that we will get rewards for our service on earth, but it also says that we will be so in awe of God that we will lay our rewards back down at his feet. So we will all be equal.

It really don't matter to me if someone has more rewards or not. I made it to heaven. Isn't that rewarded enough. Everlasting life.

I think we will be content with out rewards because we will understand that we made the choices in life that decided them for us. I believe we will be able to accept this and be happy for others that get more.

a good example. say I took a glass (or a cup whichever you preffer), and I filled it up to the brim (with water) so it could hold no more liquid at all, then I did the same to a thimble. same in heaven. God fills us up to the brim with happiness, but others are able to "hold" more happiness because they have had more saintly lives, but that does not mean the others are are any less happy, they are as happy as possible! I hope that is a good explanation for you!
God bless!
