Lucky you !!! Iran is beautiful..... The best time of the year to visit is Spring,,but unless you are visiting family..I would avoid No-Ruz
In Iran the language they speak is called FARSI..
I think it is a bit strong to hate..maybe this would be better way to distance yourself from US foreign policy..
Be nazare man George Bush baaaaaaad ast

Persian (or "Farsi", as it is called in Persian) is the official language. However, if you will be travelling around the country, you should be aware that, although there is only one official language, many languages are spoken in Iran. Persians don't like to admit this, but the fact is that Persians only account for about 50% of the population of Iran. For example, if you travel to the northwestern part of Iran (such as the city of Tabriz), the language they speak there is Azeri, which is very similar to Turkish and completely different from Persian. About 15-20% of the population of Iran speak Azeri as their native language. In addtion, there are significant numbers of Kurds, who also have their own language. Other minorities include Turkmen (near the border with Turkmenistan), Baluchis, and several different nomadic people (again, each group having their own language). There is also a small populatio n of Arabs who live near the Iraqi border.
Having said that, all educated people in Iran speak Persian/Farsi because it is the only official language of the country, and thus if it is not their native language, they must learn it in elementary school.
As I said, Iran is a very ethnically diverse place. To say that "People in Iran are Persian" is like saying "People in America are white." It's nonsense.

i know the language spoken in Iran is Farsi.
Eastern or Afghani Farsi is also known as Dari. "Farsi" is the term used by many linguists to distinguish between modern and ancient Persian, an Indo-European language like English but belonging to the Indo-Iranian sub-family. The formal variant spoken in Afghanistan is very close to Western or Tehrani Farsi while the informal style more resembles Tajiki, spoken in Tajikistan. It uses Arabic script, is taught in schools, and is used on radio by Sunni and Shiite Muslims.
but sorry i don't know how to translate "i hate bush".
i also hate bush.....
