This guy i've been talking to has told me he doesn't like me as more than a friend, but the way he acts would suggest differently. Do you think he knows he's sending this message through how he acts and is using me or is it possible that he honestly doesn't know he's doing it?

Because when they were children and first saw a girl/woman nude...they thought we broke ours off. So, even though they have outgrown that stage, they still harbor those fears subconciously...and they don't know whether to be intrigued by us, or fear us. lol

Your "friend" knows what he is doing...here is how to find out:

Make a suggestion that you want to be "friends with benefits". See how that strikes him. If he agrees, this means he is a commitment phobe looking for a regular sex partner that he don't have any obligation towards. He may be attracted to you, but he don't love you...nor does he want to.

It would be up to you whether or not to go along with this. But, my suggestion is this:

Do better than that. You can do better, and you deserve better. Do not lower your standards because you feel an attraction to this guy. Save all your love and devotion for someone who is going to treat you like royality.

As far as this guy goes, if it is just sex he is after. Tell him you can get that from a piece of plastic without having to deal with all the drama that he and his other potential "friends" may cause. You don't need it. And as any woman will tell you...a good man is well worth the wait.

Allow me to add, if he is attracted to you, that is a sure sign that someone better than him is going to be also...hang in there!

Good luck sweety!

MIND GAMES yeah that's just it people are sooooooo confusing, he knows he is confusing you but he enjoys it, so maybe you should start treating him bad to see what he does, you'll be surprised how fast he'll like you more than a friend ( start dating other people, but make sure he finds out ) and things like that

hmmm could be this guy is confuse on how he feels for you, you may think that he is sending the wrong message, i guess guys have didfuclty of expressing what they feels you need to read between the lines and encourage them to talk. they must feel that your there to listen, but most guys are like babies they need to be nurtured and needs and ask for attention

He is probably most likely enjoying the attention that he is getting knowing that you like him and using it to his advantage, PLAYING MIND GAMES!! Boys can be like that, i would start ignoring him and see what happens then. All the fun will be over when he isn't the center of your attention anymore. Get a bf and that will really p*ss him off lol.

If men are confused, it's because women made them this way. He said what he said, listen to him. Don't make more out of it.

He's just not that into you, but he's keeping his options open if he might have the chance to bone you. But even if you shag with him, it doesn't mean he'll want to have a real relationship with you. Move on, you deserve better.

I would listen to what he tells you. If he said flat out that he didn;t like you then I would believe it. However, I would let him know that he is sending you mixed signals.
