ever notice the bush cabinet only points out how bad gay marriage and immigration are when things are going really badly for them in iraq, or they've been caught raping the constitution? if it was really as big a problem as they say, it would have been brought to a screaching halt by now.

and i'm not saying its not a problem. if you want to come here, do it the proper way, but i just cant believe how transparent this regime is, and how much people dont bother thinking for themselves. i mean, its really a matter of "i believe in god, and G.W. likes god, so i support whatever evil things Darth Cheney makes him do!"

Well, the problem is, nobody asked us, and the politicians are too busy trying to figure out how to get them to vote their way in the future to listen to the will of the majority of the people now. So if there is any hypocrisy, it's on the part of our "leaders". As far as self delusion, the only ones who are deluding themselves are those so soft in the head who cannot understand the basic argument that if someone is here illegally, they should not be allowed to be here.

Most of the illegals here work the jobs that none of the US citizens want. They work their asses off. US citizens that complain about illegals taking potential jobs is just a bunch of malarchy. There is a large unemployment rate in the US, that's true. But, there are also a lot of available jobs out there that don't require a freakin college education, etc., if that's what people are complaining about. I can't remember the percentage. It's sad. It really is. I was never an illegal. I didn't come from another country and get my citizenship legally either. I was born here. Fear leads to hate. And that's what these people are...afraid.

First Thing Ill Say
Is That There Are MORE THAN 20 Million ILLEGAL ALIENS
That Twelve Number Is The Whitehouse Controlled MEDIA SPIN

hypocrisy and self delusion?

The majority of Americans did NOT enter into any
"clear social contract" with ILLEGAL ALIENS.

NO ONE ASKED THE AMERICAN CITIZENS -
We didn't get to vote on it and we want a vote on it NOW.

And I vote NO!

Send them all home.
Cut off their jobs,
train American citizens and OTHER new legal immigrants
from Asia, India, Africa, Europe to perform the work.

If the proponents of citizenship for illegal aliens want diversity
then let's have REAL DIVERSITY from all over the world.
Require that they HAVE TO LEARN to speak English.
Spread out the nations of origin for the new LEGAL immigrants and send the complaining illegal aliens HOME.

Punish any Employers harshly if they do not follow the law.

Close the Mexican Border.

American Citizens - VOTERS should have the FULL RIGHT to make this decision.
It is our economy, our culture, our society, OUR COUNTRY.

Our elected representative have sold our vote
to Political Action Committees
set up by Employers of Illegal Aliens.

I want my vote on this issue GIVEN BACK TO ME.

The US Congress has never, in the history of ever, passed a bill allowing illegals to stay. If they had they wouldn't be illegal. What they have done is gutted the ability to enforce the laws.

There's a reason for this: they can tell their voters one thing (that they've passed enforcement laws), and tell their fat cat contributors another (that they've gutted the ability to enforce those laws). The businesses know they're being told the truth, but Congress is still lying to us.

So "WE the People" have NEVER said we want them here. WE the People aren't the hypocrites. WE the People are just getting lied to.

WE DON'T. It is the corporations and employers who want cheap labor. It is the only way they can now compete with other industrialized nations. Slave labor or cheap labor. However you wish to say it , that is why so many illegals are here. Not for alleged starving families. I hope the exchange rate of the U.S. Dollar does not drop anymore against the rest of the industrialized nation. I don't know how to survive in a third world economy. Do you?

Some want them here. People who want to hire someone who will work for substandard wages under the table. People who need someone to do work that they cannot find others willing to do. Politicians that want to court their future vote for their party, and or sway those that are legal already.

Those that do not want illegals here are: Normal people who are trying to make a living for their families. People who fear others of a different background than their own. People that want employers to pay standard wages to them instead of substandard wages to an illegal. People who are against illigal aliens because it is ILLEGAL, but most of those encourage LEGAL immigration.

My solution is that for every person that is allowed into America, one person who is a drain on the country (vs a hard worker) should be traded to the country of the immigrants origin. :) We can start with our criminals and work thru to welfare bums.

I sure as hell didn't ask them to come on over.
Did you?
I agree it has gone on way too long and is probably beyond help at this point with so many and how quickly they multiply.
I don't call it hypocrisy I call it my government not listening to its people who keep telling them to do something about it.
And chose to ignore the problem until it got to big.

I don't want them here, speak for yourself!!! The government and big business wants them here, and they don't care what the average American wants. They run up the debt by making bad decisions, like Iraq, then have to figure out a way to make the economy grow to accomodate their bad decision making. Look at the answers, we Americans, are just not in control, you're the one who is delusional.

I want immigrants to be able to enter our country - but legally. I wish our government officials would actually listen to us and do something about the problem of illegal immigrants. We can't keep paying for their schooling, health care, housing, food, etc. or we're going to stop being able to help our own people as well.
