Its very rare to be born with no "pores" as you state. Hypohidrotic ectodermal dysplasia (HED), is being born without sweat glands, which is an essential function of your pores and a necessity for your body to regulate its internal temperature.

I remember there's a tribe with this condition that lives close to a body of water. I can't find anything on the subject. I saw it either on the That's Incredible or Believe It or Not TV shows in the 80s.
