Illegal immigration needs to be stopped. The pro-illegal advocates in our government need to be voted out of office, employers/would-be employers of illegals need to be fined and warned, our laws need to be enforced, and other countries need to stand up and pull their socks up. Mexico in particular needs to fix its' own problems and stop trying to 'game 'the United States.
If they fail to reform effectively, then the 'right answer' there is to lay in that border fence and not waste any more time arguing about it. The INS/ICE/whatever it is needs to be overhauled and taken under close inspection for conflicts of interest, fraud, corruption, they've avoided taking their medicine for long enough.
This is the United States we're talking about, here. 'Bums rush' immigration policy isn't going to do the job, there...

In middle school and high school. I was getting my first hickey in 86 by a classmate named Todd Steele. Hi Todd if you are out there. Hope your doing okay after your first two divorces. Why, now I am a taxpayer and working professional. What does history have to do with anything anyway? Are you saying how horrible the last eight amnesties failed? I agree with you then.

Not sure what TPS is but I was born and raised here as were so many generations I can't count that far back.
Where were you?
This amnesty crap needs to stop.
We don't reward any other criminals so why them?Because their only crime was to sneak into my house, move in and I can't kick them out?
BS!!!!
That is what it amounts to and I think most of us are sick and tired of it.
At least those of us that are legal, tax paying citizens of the USA that aren't sitting around whinning about a handout.

I was in school being taught the baloney version of Civics: you know, that voters choose the politicians, not the other way around; that judges only interpret the law, not make it; that honorable, educated people (like poltiicians) don't lie and blow smoke in people's faces.

uh, there were seven, the Senate would be the eighth
I was at work while my leaders were undermining my constitution.
What really gets my going is they all LIE to deceive us to do something once it's done we'll never accept
And that goes for the whole pro-illegal crowd as well
