You can just take iron tablets. Find them in the vit/mineral section of your supermarket or drugstore. You can even cook food in an iron pan and get some iron on a residual basis. Get a blood test, via your medical doctor, and find out what your iron count is and how much you might need to build it up to be sure

Sources of iron: prenatal vitamins (you can get them over the counter, ask the pharmacist); spinach, beets, kale, beef, iron-fortified foods. I'd go with the prenatal vitamins. My Gyno Dr told me to get some when I was having some anemia issues.

You can take iron supplements (take with vitamin C to aid in absorption.)

Cook food with a cast iron skillet.

Best is to eat foods rich in iron: soybeans, lentils, spinach, sesame seeds, kidney beans.
