What is the single most insulting/degrading/ignorant display of religious bashing you've read here on Yahoo Answers? (that came in the form of a "QUESTION")
I want ONE example ONLY. (no continual rants please)
We're all aware that there is a definate lack of respect towards other belief structures, when they differ from our own...BUT what "question" (not response) stands out in your mind as being completely dispictable.

i have to admitt: Limiting to one is too difficult. Our good Lord himself, probably wouldn't be able to narrow it down...
are there any at all that stick out in your mind?

That would have to be the question in the religion section that asked for comments about a link to a website that compared Wicca to Satanism. The website was written by someone claiming to have been raised Christian, converted to Wicca, and then back to Christianity. From what I read of the site it sickened me that someone could take so much out of contexts about any belief and compare it to another that shares nothing in common with it. The author of the website obviously only picked up a book about Wicca and went through it finding anything that made them think non-Christian and immediately labeled it as Satanic. Since this person took the whole 1 minute to write this question I spent the next hour typing out my answer of why these accusations were unfounded and misinformed, going so far as to go point by point through the linked website. As I finished this reply and began to post it I found that the question had been withdrawn and my hour of work was lost. I can only hope that the person who first set out this misinformation was set correct about their perpetuating these lies about Wicca.

Dispictable ? What the hell is dispictable. Do you mean dispicable?
How can someone insult or degrade you by commenting about religion? And because that person does not believe in what you do how does that make them ignorant? Not everyone is weak and needs to believe in God. I believe in me and am smart enough to know that not everyone is going to believe in what I do which is myself and I also know that the internet is for entertainment purposes and everyone has a right to say whats on thier mind , it doesnt make them ignorant. Now here I will give you a Question that I know will get peoples panties in a bunch and prove what my question states.
WHy are religious people so violent and quick tempered and think that they are better than everyone else?
Example : Terrorists. Super religious and super deadly.

Dispictable? You mean despicable?
I am sick and tired of hearing Christians complain about being bashed. Theists can't fathom what it's like to be an atheist. The Pledge of Allegiance has the word "god" in it. Our (U.S.) money has the word "god" on it. Insurance contracts talk about acts of "god." If the church were truly separate from the state, abortion and stem cell research would be non-issues. Congress starts its sessions with a prayer. Even our (U.S.) idiot of a president said "No, I don't know that atheists should be considered as citizens, nor should they be considered patriots. This is one nation under God." If an atheist says something even mildly disagreeable, Christians take offense and tell me I'm going to "hell."

I remember more than one question where the asker was asking about how to, or if he should, kill a whole group of people, such as all Jews, or all Muslims, or whoever. That was absolutely disgusting. Even if the asker was not serious, it was a very bad joke.

I think it got removed, but the person asked since God told him it was OK to kill [derogatory term for Blacks], could he choose any method to do it.
This was a question designed to inflame and I'm sure the person had a good giggle over it.

One must 1st consider... What is religious bashing?
Is it some who believes talking crap about one that doesn't,
or one that doesn't bashing one that believes.
Personally, the believers are much more vicious than the non believers, although their teaching are usually geared towards tolerance.

well, to be honest, I really didn't like the one where the guy said "to all christian clone robots, can God create a rock too heavey for Himself to lift" not that the question bugged me or anything, but the christian clone robots is kinda mean. we're not. but I can't complain too much...he chose me as best answer. but still, I didn't like that one comment.
