Lets see now (hypothetically speaking).

1. If you or someone on your behalf posted bail, all will be lost permanently.

2. Unlawful flight to avoid prosecution is a felony, separate from the original offense.

3. The statue of limitations freezes when you leave the United States and resumes when you return.

4. Extradition might be possible, depending on the severity of the crime.

5. Running away from your responsibility of going to court makes you a coward.

6. To remain in Japan requires permission from the Japanese government, unless you are a citizen of that country.

7. If you are in Japan on an American passport and the government of the United States revokes that passport, you could be deported.

8. Many attorneys have no scruples and can get you off in court even if you are guilty as sin.

9. You will not be able to return to the United States without risk of arrest.

10. Heightened security in travel means that you must identify yourself through your passport and computer checks are made to locate criminals attempting to travel.

11. Jesus never went to Japan. In his time the country of Japan was not known to the Jews.

12. They may or may not chase you, but a warrant will be issued for your arrest and will be valid until they apprehend you.

So, hypothetically speaking, have fun. You might get away with it, but you will never get away from yourself.

As Beeves would say, Like man to many hypos!
Did you hypothetically plan to submit this question?

You have a court date. You can stand up your girl friend and nothing will happen. You cannot stand up a judge. Basically the law is nothing but a series of escalating warrents up to and including death. Just depends on how far you want to push it!

The ultimate law on which all others hinge is simply:

" Comply or Die "

I didn't know that Jesus Morales had gone to Japan.

Um, rescue won't be a occupation. you will no longer make any income any respect at it. it relatively is why rescues are in many circumstances volunteer agencies and desperate for money. maximum people who do rescue circulate by very own financial ruin a minimum of as quickly as (very own adventure on that one) via fact they max out their credit enjoying cards on the canine. To be a valid rescue, that's a solid thought to get your non income prestige (501c3) as quickly as available. Have a code of ethics, regulations and strategies, and a criminal representative. Get a board of directors prepare and function clean techniques on what you desire to realize and who is going to do what. you may take some agency and furnish writing instructions, despite in the event that they're basically sometime seminars, to get some prepare on coping with funds. solid success!

No, they won't generally spend the money on you to get you back. However, a warrant WILL be issued for your arrest. You WILL be arrested the INSTANT you get off the plane/boat when you land in the USA. If you committed a serious crime they might indeed spend the cash to go after you.

Well, hypothetically, you become a criminal. So, hypothetically, yes, fleeing will only make things worse for you and you will be chased and, hypothetically speaking, you will be eventually caught.
