You may see some result but you need to get your cardiovascular going before you do your cruches . This way when you do your crunches you're not only building muscle but burning fat! Tip: try adding trimspa to your diet. It works!

I would seriously incorporate a more varied routine than that. Crunches alone can only do so much for you. I used to do anywhere from 800-1200/day (yeah, it was ridiculous) and saw minimal results.
Now I do a half hour of pilates on DVD each night and I've seen much better results. The variety helps work your whole body. I also try to walk a couple miles a day as well.
It's about the whole package, not concentrating on one area. Ultimately it's energy in versus energy out.

You should run - that always gets results. Do the crunches, but increase the number you do each day by 5 or 10. When you work muscles, you want to do as many reps as you can - do them 'till you can't do anymore. Wait an hour after eating before working out.

If you do 50 crunches a day it will show results. But to get really good results you have to eat healthy too. But the key to weight loss is to take good care of you self, eat healthy and Exercise a healthy way.

It depends if you have extra fat around your stomatch area, you can have strong muscles but you won't see them. . . In that case you would have to do some cardio. And instead of just doing 50 crunches, I would start an ab routine that mixes up a bunch of different ab crunchies, that would be more effective.

A little bit of a difference, but not major. It's hard to have a major difference in that short amount of time. But who care what you look like when school starts, what matters is being healthy. Your perfect just the way you are. If you want to lose weight or get tone that's up to you, but it's best to it the healthy way. Don't strain yourself, it's not good for you. When you go to school, just remind yourself you look good, your changing your life, and in the end you will look good, what matters is you do it a healthy way. If anyone tells you differently, just screw them and they're not worth your time, and your better than that.
Be proud of who you are. Best of luck to you!

Like the others stated, even if you develop ab muscles, you would have to remove the fat from them to see them.
I was working with my trainer, and she put me on an ab machine. She was surprised by the amount of weight I could move with my ab muscles. I told her not to be. I have a six pack. You just can't see it because I keep it wrapped in cheesecake.

You need to do some sort of cardio. You won't bun fat by crunches alone. Don't put your expectations too high so you won't be upset if you don't make your goal. Any results are positive.
Good luck to you!

I think it will, as long as you remember to hold your stomach in so that it can get use to being that way. But I do think you can increase the amount ever week. Far as losing weight you will need incorporate other exercises in to your routine.
