The climate is great, there is good theater, music (All kinds.), good medical care, good shopping, good public services, law and order and reasonable tolerance of eccentricities. There is a wide range of cuisines (Cantonese, Mandarin, Malay, French, Italian,Jewish, Indian,etc.,.) Library services are good, there are resident scholars of all kinds, and it is a postal and Transport hub, and a financial and commercial entrpot. What is not to like?
