Nope. My husband is on that stuff. He thinks he's losing his mind and needs to take it to keep from losing it. I hate to tell him he's already lost it.....

I did well on Wellbutrin. Didn't have the weight gain like on Effexor. Worked great while I needed help. Fine today.

I have been taking Wellbutrin for over two years, my only problem with this drug is "when can I go off of it?" Without some kind of counseling you still remain depressed and side effects of abruptly quitting can cause seizures.

Initially I did. It was, at one time, one of the only anti-depressants that worked for me, and did so almost without side effects.

But over time, it worked less and less well, while at the same time it started keeping me awake more and more at night, until any benefit it was having was completely off set by being dog-tired exhausted all the time.

I'm not on it any more.

I have seizure tendencies, so I can't take it. But I've heard it's very effective, and has low sexual side effects.
