The anticipation of getting where you are going always seems to make the trip going longer than the trip coming back.

Well, the reason could be is that on the return trip, you know how to get back since you've already traveled the route.

I think its because your waiting to go somewhere or your excited or whatever, but coming home, you aren't as excited because its not new to you.
