http://www.petfinder.org has listings from shelters nationwide. See if there is a Rescue group in your area that you can affiliate yourself too, then you can probably use Petfinder to show of these pups in need.

it takes A LOT of people to start their own rescue, so its better to start with one before starting your own.
they are a GREAT organization, they post pics of all the dogs they've rescued! You can also join their forum and see what they need you to do! Email me if you have more questions!

CALL AROUND TO THE HUMANE SOCIETY AND NO KILL SHELTERS AND ASK THEM TO GUIDE YOU IN THE RIGHT DIRECTION, IM SURE THAT THEY WORK WITH THING KINDA THING ALL THE TIME.
