Awww but its not THAT simple. Think of the janitor in this case as the hottest guy you have seen, and very nice to boot, but makes $7 hr. While the doctor is world famous for his skill and makes a killing, But is just horrible looking and is a real ******. Tell me what guy do you go for....and please explain. Thanks for the input have a great day.

I would go for the janitor. I would never go out with a guy JUST for money. If he is an a hole no matter what he looks like, forget it. The fact that the janitor is good looking and nice makes him seem like great bf/husband material. Those girls who are just after the guy's wallet to me don't deserve a guy like the nice janitor anyway. If the girl wants to have a high income coming in and if she has expensive taste, then i think she needs to go to medical school and earn it for herself. I am a high school senior and plan on becoming a doctor in the future. If my soul mate ends up making less money than me (assuming that my perfect man isn't a gold digger), who cares? It's better than being stuck with a rich ****** or marrying the jerk just for his money and dumping him soon after. Even if he is a creep, i'd be lowering myself to his level and if he isn't that bad, how could i live with myself after doing something like that?

That's a difficult one only because it say's nothing about the person's character, values and or persona.. without that I would go for neither one of them. But let's say that they were the last two men on earth and I had to choose... let's be honest I'de probably go for the Janitor not just because of looks but as a Janitor he sounds like someone who is comfortable with necessities in life not extravagance. Also because he probably enjoys life a little better for what it is not what he can buy. As long as he's a hard worker and and good to me he would be it. Actually I missed the part about the part about the Dr. being a real ******... so that seals the deal for me... definitely the JANITOR!

Definitely the janitor. It's funny you should ask this question. I come from a wealthy family (Dad's a doctor!) My sisters all married rich men. I married my husband. He's an artist. He's handsome and he is the funniest, kindest person in the world. When we met, I ran a law office and he restored antique furniture. He made a fairly good living. I owned my home, he didn't own property. So, we feel in love and got married and my husband left his job in the state where he lived and moved in to the home that I owned and got a carpenter job in a factory. It was a step down professionally for him, but a closer commute. Now we have a daughter. I left my job to stay at home and now my husband still works as a carpenter in a factory but also, get this, works in a supermarket at nights to bring in a little extra money. Am I ashamed? Heck no! I get choked up thinking about how hard he works and what a great husband/dad he is! BTW, we are both educated (me MBA, him BFA). We just didn't need our parents lives, we love our own!

Most women would enter a long term relationship with the doctor whilst having a sexual fling with the janitor. Thus they could dupe the doctor into investing his ample resources into raising the (supposedly according to evolutionary theory) healthier janitor's baby.
In this way the woman get's the best of both worlds: the janitor's healthy robust genes and the doctor's resources.

Well the janitor of course love is blind to money. I'm sorry, but you could be the most successful man in the world, but if there is no physical attraction and he has a bad attitude and treats others badly.....that is the quickest way to run me off. I'd take the hotty janitor any day over the jerk off doctor.

Money is not everything. I'd go with whoever made me happy and made me laugh.
Sounds like that would be the janitor. At least you would get to see him and spend time together as a family...The Doctor probably would work all the time and always be stressed etc....
Janitor for me. A happy simple life full of love.

The janitor for sure. I went out with doctor once, highly arrogant and didn't have time for a life, spent all his hours working. Janitors would have hot bodies and I couldn't care less what a guy earns, I can look after myself.

Janitor, b/c youll always have a clean house, and he wont mind wiping the kids puke up. A janitorial position is not always permanent, and he could have been saving up his dimes to become a Doctor, in which case you get both the doctor and the janitor, and he ends up being a hottie Doctor. Im all about having my cake and eating it too.

I would honestly have to say the janitor. Relationships are not always about $$. It is nice to have the $$, but in the long run it is better to be happy. I wouldn't want to live in a world being miserable, I would rather live happily ever after!

I make plenty of money on my own to get by, so I'd go for the hot, sweet janitor over the mean doctor anyday! Even if I didn't, I would choose the same answer. I refuse to accept disrespect from my significant other.
