Tea is so much better for you but then coffee is actually not bad for you... Starbucks is AWESOME but not good for you at all. Tea also has anti oxidants and that is better! TEA is what I suggest. Coffee for cravings and Starbucks for extreme emergencies!

Not a big fan of Starbucks coffee, but Folgers in the morning is fabulous. You can decide if you want to add milk and sugar, I like it black. Tea is a nice hot drink in the evenings to relax with, or an ice cold drink on a hot afternoon.

Coffee vs Tea for Fat Loss
You probably already know that a shot of caffeine before your workouts can give you more energy and help you burn more fat. For that reason, millions of people drink a cup or two of coffee before hitting the weights or heading off to aerobics class.
But did you know that tea - especially green tea - has been shown to be far more effective than coffee for fat loss?
Recent research shows that tea's combination of natural caffeine and phytochemical antioxidants (called "catechins") is incredibly effective at promoting fat loss, mainly by elevating thermogenesis (body heat production).
There is also evidence that chemicals in tea help to protect lean muscle tissue and stabilize blood sugar levels - not to mention boost your immune system, inhibit tumor growth, kill dangerous bacteria, and much, much more!
Simply put, tea burns fat more efficiently than coffee and provides far more health benefits. Drink 2 strong cups of green tea half an hour before your workouts. You'll get the energy- boost of coffee as well as the fat-burning, muscle-saving, and health-promoting benefits of tea!

If you want to continue to drink good coffee, just buy a 1lb or two at a time. And make yourself a good cup of joe like Starbucks, or whatever other good local gourmet coffee is available to you.
I buy gourmet coffee by the 1lb. it lasts me for a week or two because I make one 2 cup of pot of coffee or I use a french press.
I only need two cups of coffee in the morning. One early am and one mid morning.
Black tea is good too. Tea is better for you. I only drink hot black tea in the winter. I can't drink it in the summer.

You know you can go to the grocery store and buy various flavored creamers and fix your coffee anyway you want.
I like mine with Maxwell House smooth roast mixed with a little hot chocolate and vanilla creamer.
My son likes his a bit stronger and adds carmel creamer.
Coffee doesn't have to be boring at home, find a way to make it the way you like it and it will save you a fortune!
Or go to Speedway, they have flavored coffees, I do this when I don't have time to make coffee at home.
As for tea, I love ice tea in the summer and hot tea when I'm not feeling well or on a cold winter evening.

Coffee is not that fattening. It's how much cream and sugar you add. I would alternate. I am a Starbucks fan and they have all kinds of great teas and coffee

Nutritionally, I think tea is better, more antioxidants and such. I go back and forth between hot teas, (green, chai, rose, herbal, etc) and coffee, I prefer indie coffee house coffee vs. starbucks, but any can truly be fattening/sugar loaded. Nothing wrong with splurging. So ......I guess it is your preference, everything in moderation.
