Terry, ever heard of grammar? Learn it and use it, untilt hen shut your mouth because I will never take an illiterate, ignorant, poor-spelling Christian seriously.

First, like many before me have said better, I'd like to establish that Christians in no way believe themselves to be perfect. I know I have fallen short, like all have, of the standard God has set for us all. A direct result of this failure is the guilt that follows. I have experienced, I don't mean to over generalize, that people that view Christians as being condescending or snobby actually hate the guilt that the Christian life sheds light on. So when you say that Christians are condescending be sure you're not lashing out of relieve your own guilt. I can assure you Christ taught us to be humble.

why do people such as yourself, seem to come to that conclusion so frequently? (notice, i did not say "always")

Christians do not think themselves better than anyone else. That's just Satan "tainting" people's perspective.

All have sinned, and have fallen short.

Christians are no different than the rest. We are all just "sinners" - Some of us are just 'saved by grace'; where as some choose to reject grace which is offered.

Stop being so judgemental over Christians. Your statement is too broad.

God Bless.

I do not believe that anyone is better than anybody. Its just that Christians believe in God and has a great perspective where they are going. in the end. Eternal life. But you have to have at least the Faith of a mustard seed. If you knew how I used to be and know the person I am now. You would believe also. If you don't already.

My thinking is this...if you have the best and sweetest fruit you have ever had wouldn't you want to share it with your neighbour, your friend or brother...Wouldn't you want to have them taste it and share in that same sweetness? With faith of all kinds we will all feel that we have the sweetest thing. Maybe you are judging to harshly your neighbours. And maybe they are just a wee bit enthusiastic. Its all how you look at it . Be happy for them and be happy for you. At least we all believe in God. That's a good thing.
I am not Christain by the way... But I think my faith is the greatest. I should, or why believe in it?? Its all good......

We are to judge not, lest ye be judged. However, Jesus wants us to spread His word, and our testimony, so it may seem to some like we are. We are just as human and infallible as anyone else, but we should have the desire to be "righteous" or, more like Jesus. Perhaps you are feeling insecure and less of a person, otherwise you may not have asked that question.

We aren't better than anyone!
If anyone behaves that way, they are sinning against God and you. None of us are perfect, none better than the next.
I am sorry that any Christian brother or sister has behaved this way toward you.
This behavior makes all Christians seem difficult instead of loving. It makes us appear judgmental, instead of compassionate. It makes us seem distant instead of caring for one another.
Please don't label all Christians as cruel, rude or judgmental. I pray that those who insulted you will see the error of their ways and repent.
Peace to you always,

"When I say ... "I am a Christian,"
I'm not shouting, "I'm clean livin',"
I'm whispering, "I was lost,"
Now I'm found and forgiven.
When I say ... "I am a Christian,"
I don't speak of this with pride,
I'm confessing that I stumble
and need CHRIST to be my guide.
When I say ... "I am a Christian,"
I'm not trying to be strong,
I'm professing that I'm weak
and need HIS strength to carry on.
When I say ... "I am a Christian,"
I'm not bragging of success,
I'm admitting I have failed
and need GOD to clean my mess.
When I say ... "I am a Christian,"
I'm not claiming to be perfect,
My flaws are far too visible
but, GOD believes I'm worth it.
When I say ... "I am a Christian,"
I still feel the sting of pain,
I have my share of heartaches,
So I call upon HIS name.
When I say ... "I am a Christian,"
I'm not "holier than thou",
I'm just a simple sinner
who received GOD'S good grace, somehow"

It's not that we are "better than", but having Chirst as our Savior apposed to someone who doesn't, we have it far better than they.... we have eternal life, joy, peace of mind, freedom... so much more.....

it's too hard to contain all that, so we share it, and many people take it the wrong way.

please dont generalise. some might, some dont. if you want to learn about christianity, study the religion, not the people.

i am just telling you this because a lot of people base islam on the actions of some minorities.
