Sounds like she laid in a fire ant bed. Benadryl will help but you might check with the vet if she starts to get to where she can't breath too well.
Kiss her little forehead for me and hope she gets better.

my lab got into some little red ants nests and had them, they went away after about a week i did not see them anywhere but her belly. but the bites looked just horrid and seemed to swell right before my eyes.

it could be the grass from season to season the grass changes into different stages of growth this used to efeect my dog where ever we lived i used to use a cream called sigmacort
it has quarterzone in it which helps get it from yr gp tell them your have ezmea sorry about spelling

They could be from mosquitos, ticks, fleas, chiggers, they could be from thorny plants that sometimes emit a irritating toxin...
It could be a lot of things.

IT COULD BE SPIDER BITES TOO--MAKE SURE ITS NOT FROM A BROWN RECLUSE THEIR BITES ARE DEADLY. IF IT DOESN'T GET BETTER WITH IN 2 DAYS I'D TAKE HER INTO THE VET'S OFFICE.
