LOL Do you know how many times I have asked myself that? I have seen so many people doing that cause another accident! Unfortunately I am guilty of that myself. I have not stopped but slowed down to see. I guess it's human nature, curiosity! You know the old saying, Curiosity killed the cat!

the main reason is curiosity,,and also to make sure it,s not a member of your family,,or someone you know,,and the most of us,,just have to see the accident,i do it,,and in the back of my mind i am thinking,to my self,,I'm glad it isn't me ,,and i think we all do that,,and when we slow down,,everyone else does too,,and probably in their mind,,there thinking the same thing,,i guess,,we all should give thanks every day we make it back home alive,,because the roads are getting a little unsafe to drive on these days,,i hope this answer,,is what your looking for.

Two reasons (at least, they are for me):

1. To make it sure it isn't my son or someone I know (otherwise, I'd stop)

2. Curiosity
