Pay off any or all debts if possible and make sure his future wife has little or no debt also. Money is one of the top reasons for divorce these days. Also 6 months before the wedding both of you should take a marriage seminar you can buy one and listen to it on cd or dvd or you can attend one. This really settles things out like who is going to work, careers, where your going to live and it's the little things that if taken forgranted could affect your relationship.
