I'm going to keep this simple but real since I've answered this at least 4 other times, no harm its still a question.

Athiests do not just have a disbelief for an entity, but they believe any organized religion is the doom of modern man and will eventually end humanity as we know it. (These wars going on in the middle east because of this "God"?)

Agnostics believe in scientific proof, they say you can't proove God does exist, but then again you cannot prove he doesn't exist, so they're actually found a legitimate way to be on both sides? or on neither side? hmm

Hope this helps.

The difference between Theist, Athiest and Agnostic: Theist - believes that there is proof that there IS a god/higher being. Atheist - believes that there is proof that there IS NO god/higher being. Agnostic - believes that there is no proof either way. There are believing Agnostics who believe in a god/higher being, and there are non believing Agnostics who do NOT believe in a god/higher being. But either way, believing or non believing, Agnostics do not believe that there is any way to prove the existence or non existence of a god/higher being.

The athiest does not believe in God. The agnostic does not know if there is a God or not. I was an agnostic at one time. I considered myself to be a "seeker of wisdom and truth."

I honestly have considered numerous solutions right here that say some thing like "An atheist BELIEVES that god does no longer exist." it truly isn't any longer maximum magnificent, except in an fantastically particular and restricted case. A more effective precise characterization is to assert "An atheist does no longer believe that god exists." DO you spot the adaptation? Theism/atheism has to do with theory in god(s). Gnostic/agnostic has to do with comprehend-how concerning god(s). An agnostic keeps that any comprehend-how concerning god(s) is inaccessible, and as such, it isn't attainable to understand no matter if god(s) exist. in case you study that paragraph, you'll word that the previous certainty, "An atheist does no longer believe that god exists" is likewise actual for an agnostic. So, an agnostic IS an atheist. right here's the mandatory enormous difference... an atheist does no longer discover sufficient information to help a theory in god(s). An agnostic does no longer have get entry to to comprehend-how concerning gods. As you will see, those mandatory ameliorations aren't any more effective than a trifle... a word sport... a semantic quibble. Now... the sturdy atheist position is a touch different... the sturdy atheist DOES say "i experience God does no longer exist."... i.e., NO GOD is a real proposition. meaning that the sturdy atheist has get entry to to information that he deems sufficient to help a theory that god does no longer exist. Philosophically and logically, then, this style of position bears a burden of information. The time-honored-old atheist position does no longer bear a burden of information... neither does the agnostic position. "An agnostic is largely an atheist with none balls." ~ Stephen Colbert P.S. I honestly have taken word that some respondents have stated that 'atheism' is a faith. That ranks very close to the proper with reference to stupid assertions. Atheism isn't any more effective a faith than no longer gathering stamps is a pastime.

Agnosticism refers to what you know, atheism refers to what you believe. It is possible to be an agnostic theist. The agnostic viewpoint is that it is impossible to know whether there are any gods or not. An atheist believes that there are no gods. A theist believes that there is at least one god. It is possible to be an agnostic theist, such person believes that a god exists, but admits to having no knowledge on the matter. Likewise an agnostic atheist believes no gods exist, but will admit that he has no definite knowledge.

Atheist - Believe in NOTHING. They don't acknowledge the existence of God, or any gods...basically they believe in the power of SELF.

Agnostic - Believes in 'something' although doesn't really define what...like saying: "I believe in a higher being of some sort, but not nessesarily what others consider 'God'..." Agnostics don't know what they believe in.
