We have had 3 birds peck at 3 diffrent windows in the last 2 days.

The bird may be seeing its reflection. It is also an old wives tale that a bird pecking at the window means there will soon be a death in the family.

Birds peck on mirrors or glass window when they see their image and they felt threatened. They are actually attacking the image. This happens to me all the time especially during mating season when mocking birds alight on my truck's side mirror and start pecking.

It means you just used windex to clean your windows with and the birds are seeing themselves in the refelction and trying to get to that other bird.
