Here's the zip codes for Manhattan Island (New York City).
10038 (Wall Street)
10014 (Wall Street)
10003 (Greenwich Village)
10013 (Lower Eastside)
10002 (Chinatown)
10009 (Union Square)
10019 (Midtown)
10022 (Midtown)
10017 (Midtown)
10036 (Midtown)
10023 (upperWest side)
10021 (highest-income zip code)
10128 (upperEast side)
10016 (Murray Hill area)
I don't know the zip codes for northern Manhattan though. Also, many large office buildings are assigned their own specific zip codes, like the MetLife Building...10166.

There are many codes for New York City and still more for New York State. You need to know the exact location to find out wht that ZIP code for an address.

Look up ZIP code directorties in Yahoo!

Just to confirm what several others have said, the full address is required for delivery of mail. Although they may try a postal code does not identify a specific house in a city. A Canadian Postal Code identifies the province, the city, and a specific geographical area within the city which may be comprised of a single building (i.e. a large apartment complex) or a section of a street or streets. Items without the correct street address are generally not delivered (I had a letter returned due to a missing "s" in the street name, everything else was correct). So yes, you do need the house number if you are going to send them any type of mail other than email.

10000. That's what I always enter in as my zip code when registering for Yahoo. Either that or 90210. ;)
